Yeah you wish!!!!!!!!

Just seems a lot of it about at the minute, is everyone selling up for convertible for summer or something?

Dunno, just wish my wod of money would hurry up so I can grab myself a bargain.

I've heard a lot of people panicking about road tax changes? I've not actually officially heard anything or if our trucks will suddenly by badly effected.

Interesting :nenau I've not heard or read anything myself but I'll ask around and see if anyone else has heard anything.

I hope it's not extortionate :doh

You decided what you're going for yet????

SWB? LWB?

I put a good one in your thread the other day

As I've been looking for a new car, from what I under stand all stays the same, only new cars have lost the zero road tax,

Cause the tax on the rest will go up, but not daft amounts

The legislation is aimed at new vehicles registered after 31 st March 2017.

Who knows what the government will do with road tax, they're a very unpredictable lot in Westminster aren't they.

Yeah saw that link other day Banshee ta but can't really get much just yet. As for what to get I have no idea. I'd like a 3.0litre but wouldn't rule out the 2.7tdi, again probably better with a LWB but again wouldn't rule out a SWB either or a commercial for that matter. My main concern is the tin worm, although I know we can fix it I'd rather not and also not sure about trusting other people's repairs either. All I can hope is that when our money does come through it doesn't take too long before a replacement comes along, as you know there are a hell of a lot of dogs out there.

I'll be keeping mine for tugging around the new tin tent when repairs are finished

I am not sure those of us with the older (pre 2004?) Machines will be affected. As I think the tax rate was locked at that age.

Sorry if ths is hijacking the thread, but it is of equal concern....

My concern is the ongoing demonisation of diesel fuelled cars, that is making fiends of us for even thinking of running these machines.......what are the thoughts on the forum......:nenau

I'm keeping mine and running it until it dies on me:thumb2
Put too much time and effort into it over the last few years to even think about selling.

I'm still working on the Black Pearl. It will never be finished at this rate as I'm competing at least monthly. Fix one thing developed another , 3 steps forward 2 steps back etc.
ExperimentEd with high boost the other day and it's feckin' awesome but brakes need upgrading now
Anyway it is for sale but only cause I've got a Trol to perv about with
