As the title states I've developed a tight spot just as I lock right. After that it's smooth over to full lock and back and left lock is fine :nenau
Belt is in good order, no slipping, plenty of fluid and no leaks.no untoward noises and nothing under the front end binding and no play on any of the steering components.
Banshee had the same problem a while back and his sorted itself out after wading through a Ford :lol
Got me puzzled this one.

Have you tried it with the wheels off the ground? While it's up get the wife to turn from lock to lock & see if you see owt.

Found the problem :thumb2
The pressed inserts on the modded draglink are starting to develop a bit of play.
New inserts and nuts and bolts should do the trick.

Have you checked that you are straight ahead when the box is straight ahead, you can only do this with the drag ling off the drop arm then check the datum mark on the box, in this position there should be no play in the drop arm then as you turn off the straight ahead play will develop, what I am trying to say is if the box is off center and has been adjusted in this position then as you get back to the proper central position it will go tight, I cannot see slight play in the drag ling causing a "tight spot", Rick
