Throttle cable / shock absorbers

My cable was getting pretty stiff and ironically when I finally checked I noticed it was seriously stretched - it has loads of play which may explain a bit of the lack of power more recently

Any idea where I can get a new one for a 1995 Terrano ? Seems they are pretty generic to a lot of models ?

Also, any suggestions on a basic set of front shocks ? No serious offroading required but we do spend quite a bit of time travelling up and down rough tracks. Wondering about say Monroe Adventure or Reflex ? Don't want to go mad on price.....

I see your in Spain. I would have suggested your nearest "Andrew Page" motor factors but I can see that may be an issue. Milners price sounds okay.

But we have an office in the UK so I can get stuff posted there and brought back easily enough.

They may well be.

Passing the parcel from one to another, lobbed unceremoniously from one van to another, nobody caring.

I, on the other hand, can collect from supplier and deliver to your door without the package leaving my care.

Unfortunately I think you are all under the misapprehension that it is all lovely and warm and sunny here...... regrettably for the last few weeks it has been very English..... grey, cool & miserable.

Meanwhile, any suggestions on where I can get a new throttle cable ? Tried Milners.... said it would be weeks to see if they can get one !

Funnily enough I did lubricate and then take the slack out of the old one - seems I have a bit more power now......
