You got the truck going then?
I'm picking a load of wood up tomorrow, fire will be lit tomorrow evening. Get the barbecue forks ready.

At Enfield Pageant of Motoring for the whole W/E chilling out and getting my fair share of the essence of pleasure (scotch) Rick

Narrowly avoiding a shopping trip with swmbo by changing a clutch on a Ford 4000 tractor.

Lots of 'Essence' for us to this weekend.
It's our 30th wedding anniversary!
We've invited some Dartmoor dwellers over.

Have a great Weekend yourselves everyone!:thumb2

A pals stag do today. Now sitting in my truck at a shooting club ready to bust some clays.
The rest of the day will be consuming beer apparently:doh

Down in st teath in Cornwall for the week in a holiday lodge:thumb2

Managed a dry day out at the Welsh Game Fair at Llandeilo......not bad for their first attempt, not quite a 'one horse dorp'........okay literary quiz reference there.....:thumb2

Jobs in the house for the rest of the w/e and bank holiday....I may indulge in a tumbler of JD later.......:D.

Ah nice one Jim, as said, you got the truck going again then :clap

Where did you manage to source a 3litre sender unit from?

Enjoy your time away matey, that looks a lovely spot right there. I love getting out there especially for a bit of laning with the boys. I thoroughly enjoyed myself on the last trip out up there in the 3 litre.

We all departed early on the Sunday but I stayed on and put some mileage on the ZD30 block stopping at the side of the road outside Buxton to fly my kite

Was a lovely weekend

Hey Solarman came to the rescue and fixed up the old leaking pipe with a nice bit of copper. Was a close call as mrs “requested” a terrano for the weekend so I would have struggled to go off. Anyhoo got the 3 litre running Wednesday night.

A great one nighter camping chilling n chatting with Don Simon. We’ve sussed out a great camp site for a club meet too if anyone fancies a jaunt to Derbyshire.

Sounds like a secondary adventure to the wales trip could be brewing :D

A good little weekend away, kicking back and doing nothing. Packed up yesterday afternoon due to incoming rain and sat at home now in glorious sunshine.
That Edale is a cracking little spot and equally difficult for everyone to get to, so ideal for a meet.

I am slowly but surely trying to drive all the lanes I can find in the Peaks-Derbyshire Dales, every few weeks or so I go and do a few and make a few notes on my memory maps, I've bedn promising Blocky a meet there for ages :doh I will organise something sometime if people like :thumb2

If it’s any use the camp site we looked at is on this farm at Barber Booth nr Edale. Whitmore Lea Farm. Very basic but has a couple of loos in farm buildings but a great field.
