Well firstly, its Richards perogative as a mod to make a judgement call.

Secondly, we are a tolerant country - its something to be proud of - and while it might be some extremists view that burning a Quran is an offensive act, thats their perogative too.

And lets not forget the last time this happened eight people, including four proud Gurkhas, died as a direct result. So why deliberately piss these people off, they have enough encouragement as it is.

I think the point is that if someone burnt a bible in the middle of London and then danced on our flag it would barely cause a ripple.At worst they would probably be cautioned.Are we tolerant or indifferent ?
