ok this rattle is really getting on my tits big time ......ive had the front arb drop links replaced and the front wheel bearings tightened up .. and exhaust checked .. its lovely and tight ....im going bluddie mad here , im gonna go to krap fit in yarmouth today to see if they will put it on the ramp and have a look ...... any ideas folks ? .... im gonna be locked up soon .... going insane here .

well, i still think its that clip, i bet they didnt remove the right one. just get them to use their inspection laptop, but the ONLY thing I saw was those two clips, and they made exactly the noise we heard, so get them to check those pipes right along, perhaps theres more clips that are loose?

i know sound travels , but im almost certain the noise is coming from the back of the car , just had a quick look under the bonnet and no clips i can see , plus ive got 2 clips thats been removed ( both look identical )..... one is stopping the sunroof rattle ... works very well too ! :D , what if the rear drum brakes were knacked , would they make a tinny rattle noise ..... or perhaps rear arb drop links ? , no harm in replacing them i guess ?

If you are going to K...fit, they should have a shaker plate on their 4 post lift that should reveal any suspension/ARB issues.

As daft as it sounds, finaly found my source of rattle.... factory supplied jack looseish in its holder - up umtil then was convinced my exhast was on the way out!

Back to engineering school for me!

Bose do a very nice noise cancelling headphone that harmonically matches any noise by reproducing the same wavelength but 90 degrees out of phase thus creating pure silence !!
