i didn't get to see shipston. i ended up being a bit busy with parents house as it got flooded. luckily they were on holday and didn't see the mess. i managed to get it all cleared up and get big dehumidifiers in before they got back.

Just read this thread with dread, I thought when I got rid of Probe I also got rid of issue of correct battery. That was a pain some would push bonnet up, others right height but width slightly too much!

Sorry just thought I stick my two bobs worth in!

so back to basics i had to buy a new battery 80.00 for 110 amp rating didnt have the lip on the bottom but as it happened i didnt have a clamp anyway :lol: :lol:
i modified a universal fitting clamp to hold the battery down no problems

iv`e got so much room in front radiator i could mount two batteries in there easily had to evict family of squatters the other day lol
