The making of buggy no.2!

done a few hours stripping today, decided to make another buggy from a terrano LWB 51 plate, gunna make this one without a cab light and daft and gunna shorten the chassis probably between 85 inch and 90 inch

You keeping the same wheelbase?

If the rear arches are in good condition cut them out and keep them. Someone will buy them to weld in place of their rotten ones.

when you plate the chassi back together with a plate ever the cut, chop the corners of your plate, eg a rectangular plate would then have 8 sides.

this gives more strength than a 4 sided plate as the weld pulls/holds in different difections..

maybe you knew this already..
