Looked fun but I'm not sure I'd have the bottle to take mine now.

I have to ask, why was Bigbunny making like Zebedee?

I hope he does DIY it himself though as will be great knowlegde and the savings should be handsome :nenau

Not if I stuff something up though

I'm looking at all the options but remember bro not all of us have a workshop at our house where we can work on things every night or leave the truck dismantled for weeks on end (because I wouldn't be rushing this one) :nenau

However I do it I'm not rushing it. The other option I have is a secondhand box and then recondition the original one at my leisure...

Oi!!

To be fair, she's getting a decent shakedown which is good as I want to do a big overlander into mainland Europe in the next few years.
You better bloody make sure I'm included in that outing!!!!

Was discussing some details of driving to Sweden yesterday, my mate reckons we'll do it in 24hrs. If I can I'll take him for his stag do, he has a friend over there :D

If the shocker can extend further than the length of the spring then the spring goes bye-bye :lol That's why people have spring locators fitted. I reckon that's what happened, showing ofc wasn't he :lol:lol

I need some Lwb springs!
I snapped one a while back and had these lying about so put them on to get it through the mot. Thought they were +2 heavy duty but they do seem short :lol
Good job my best brummy mate picked it up for me :bow

Bloody 'ell you're lucky it didn't end up on ebay if Zac had hold of it :lol

Looked superb and plenty big enough lanes for the big ass Trols there. Got to be one for the future...

Out of interest, what Aussie technique for the auto box were you doing Rob?

Driving through the brakes. Great for steep downhill descents.

You left foot brake just enough so the Trol rolls to a stop. Leave your left foot where it is then increase the revs with your right to overcome the force from the brakes. Gives you lots of control over your descent speed (just lift your foot of the throttle to slow down). Also, as the brakes are now the overriding force on the diffs it fools them into equalising the power across the wheels, basically giving you locked diffs.

Downside is it works the box a bit so things start to heat up and it shouldn't be used for an extended period. I wasn't thinking and overused it which boiled the fluid and a clutch pack :doh :(

Was an absolute cracking weekend guys:thumb2
