the great decorating debate

ok , now all the plastering is done in the bungalow , its time to save up for the decorating , question is which do you prefer ..... painting walls or wallpapering ?

Emulsion every time for me Pete, if the walls are rough Matt but they're good then Silk is better because it's easier to clean.

Big bucket of Magnolia and blitz the place. That'll get you into the house. Then decorate as you'd prefer in your own time.

hm , understand what your saying jim , but at the moment the bungalow is completely empty , like a blank canvas , we are never gonna get another chance to decorate it completely .

we have to get decorators in , cos I cant do it , but we found a couple of ladies who run a decorating business who gave us a very good quote ( £475 ) for decorating the bungalow which includes gloss work , ceilings painted and paper hanging .... all we gotta do is buy the paper .

I prefer paint, as not only do I hate hanging wallpaper, but it is easier to maintain as well.

and also wallpaper makes your home 100% more vulnerable to invasion from platypuses high on cocaine...... it's a well known fact this.

yeah ill tell her mate, she's lovely is Sheila and will see my point of view im certain.

your problem is im off on holiday now for a week to Portsmouth.
