Now thats really interesting Martin. It does sit pretty.:thumb2
Looking good by the way!

Looking very nice, if only I could have spent all that money on accessories and not repairs:doh:doh

Thanks guys. The pictures are not very good because the light was so bad. I'll try and get more when I can when the weather's better

Good to hear dude.

I've thought about 35s on the shorty but it's a bit more involved on the Y60s as they want a 4" lift and/or cutting to fit them and I'd definitely want to fit 4.6 gearing or at least 4.3 (she's 4.1 just now) and tbh I'm pretty happy with her on her 33s anyway.

Thanks mate. Thing is with the swb, is it doesn't need the big tyres, it's got the ramp over clearance but yeah, it can look cool, but start going too big and it will make it undrivable really, and scary going up steep hills and rocks.

Yours looks good on the 33's

Mine being the auto I think it has 4.34 diff ratio which helps it so not sure if I went to 4.6 I'm going to see a big difference, big yeah they were there if needed. :)

Looking good!

When it comes to new tyres, I will bin off the 33's and go with the 35's! My rims are 16" tho, not 15" ... I will stick with the BFG's! :thumbs

Thanks Jay.

That's what my problem was, I was wanting to have 16x10 wheels but tyres are now non existent. I think you can get cooper discoverer st pro or the new bfg km3 but you can't get the k02 all terrain.
You had these 2 tyres or budget mud tyres unless you wanted to import sonething in.
This is why I decided to go 15's as I like a big side wall to help the suspension cushion and 17's started to get really expensive also.

Yeah, after this post I went onto the BFG website to see that there was no choice for 35's with the 16" rims in K02's. :doh (I couldn't see any in the K03's either!)

Yeah it not good.

I got told by the tyre place I got my creepy crawlers for the red truck ages ago that 15's are disappearing and 16's are the way forward but that's turned out to be rubbish. 17's are becoming more popular because of new trucks with bigger brakes, this is also why you cant get the D-mod wheels anymore either which sucks.

All the tyre places I visited told me they wouldn't recommend 15's but I love them. I think they just wanted me to buy 17's

Yeah, they don't do them for the patrol now. You can get them abroad I'm sure, but they said in order for them to do them they have to order in bulk, and they don't thick they will sell them because of the now bigger brakes on trucks.

Bit of a Sh****r that then.

Cheers dude :thumb2 Yeh go too big with a shorty and things can get a bit unstable...

Can anyone see what the problem is here?

And Suz just pointed out, you can't get to the door handle...

But other than that, it's fine.

Yeah, don't worry about that, the jerry cans and the spare wheel swing out of the way, but the rear bumper is going to get a mod done to stop them swinging out too far.

And.. er, no rear lights except fogs.

Exactly. With the tyre and cans on you cant see the lights :doh

No number plate?

This too :augie

Number plates are changed to mine and are already sorted :thumb2

That's better. I feel a bit safer now.

Tyres are 35x12.50x15 :D

Probably because they are 15 inch they look huge.
