Heard some comment on TV about Harry being promoted to Captain and that William would therefore have to salute him and call him SIR.

William is a Flt LT . These ranks ;army / royal air force are equal.

Now IF Harry were to be a Captain RN that would be another matter.

However; on a lighter note ,I suppose they will both be Married soon and , like us, they will get their orders from their respective you know whos :bow

The only Captain in the army that I know of is Captain Mainwaring of Dad's Army.

I went shopping this morning, the Shops were heaving, I said if I remembered about the Royal Wedding I would have gone shopping tomorrow. :lol :lol

well as others i said i was not going to watch the royal wedding but have spent the last few hours after taking the car for its mot it passed :clap watching it with my three year old lad point out to him who was the queen and so on and i have to say i enjoyed it
made me think about all the history we have in this country with all the military pomp and traditions enjoyed trying to answer all my sons questions
