Sweet deal!

That would have cost me 139.99 in veg tho :augie ;)

It would be interesting to compare MPG, your sigs suggest similar motors
My mav lost around a third in milage with cooking oil:eek:

I have never ran my truck on veg always 100% diesel seems veg is giving lots of running problems i always fill up with proper derv not tescos watery crap either plus i keep the tank to the neck stop condensation build up.

My fourtrak runs crap on tesco diesel smokes and missfires its because its got more bio than proper fuel or so ive read i always use esso gives about 4mpg more than tesco crap

Interesting you guys say about fuel quality, I avoid supermarket stations and only fill at shell (when adding derv) or at a fail safe bp :thumb2

200 squid,b--dy hell.both my t2s runs fine on my wvo and the winter mix works out at 35pltr using crap tesco derv rug mix with no miss firing and no frosty morning worries.still gives me 7mpl 5mpl towing my van.
only trouble is cold filtering takes longer when cold.

Am I missing something ?? My terrano runs fine on tesco fuel don't it all come from the same place ?? Veg oil will rot ya rubbers including the ones in the Ip and when I tried it I had nothing but running problems and it stinks lol

Its well knowing that tesco diesel has some of the additives missing from it thats why its cheaper and i defintly notice a diference with shell bp etc more miles per gallon engine sounds smoather aswell

i thought you were only allowed up to 100 litres ...... im sure that's what it says on my vouchers ...... i don't care anyway .... Florence does over 66 mpg on a run , and around 43mpg around town :augie

It's supposed to be the same well that's what they tell everyone but i've noticed some big difference in MPG & power when using supermarket fuel & the branded fuel like Esso, Shell & BP. Put ASDA petrol in my old V8 once & there was a noticeable drop in power & my MPG dropped by 30% other supermarkets fuel were much better but out of the big brands i've found Shell to be the worst for a slight drop in power with the V8 & my older Fords. Yes some are making nice savings using veg & good on them:thumbs but for me I tried it years ago with my last T2 & yes it ran ok but I hated the drop in power I got with using it

Lots of us running wvo or svo like me no running problems what so ever and it doesn't rot anything rubber its the low sulphur derv caused that. Newer pumps have viton seals fitted T2s do not so eventually every ones pumps seals will leak bio actually helps the seals

i thought it was common knowledge that supermarkets use a mix of bio in their deisel thats why it cheaper.
i use b100 bio most of the time with no running problems:nenau
engine is a lot quieter on bio and not noticed a lack of power or drop in mpg.
dont actually care about mpg,its a 2.7 brick shaped 2 ton beast with 33 inch mud tyres, never going to be economical:lol:lol

I just assumed diesel was diesel hmmmmm?
Certainly learning a lot from you chaps :thumb2

However I am getting 25p off a litre at Tescos at the moment - so tempted to stick with them.
