FAO Lazyferret
One of the wires looks quite yellow but I think it might be more of a white, the pins are numbered on the inside of the plug too Clive. Ignore the Scotch clip wire thingys, they were supposed to be temporary until I decided whether I liked it or not, I have discovered some really good connectors today though, I'm gonna post them eksewhere :thumb2

Thank You... :bow

If you get over ambitious about turning it up, does it put the truck into limp mode?

Yes, a quick flick of the ignition on and off sorts it. I has to be up very very high though, much higher than I have it.

Sorry for all the questions... I am trying to decide how best to have a play with this... how much do you normally turn it? e.g. much past the half way point, or is it only really in the first half of it?

Well I got 5 mins today and this..

All eventually turned into this...

I wired it up as per George's diagram and f**k me this thing shifts, I put a 270 ohm resistor in to stop the resistance dropping too much but on max its immense. No ill effects so far apart from cooking my brakes lol. Well worth it.

ive been trying to make a maf amp for awhile looks a similar idea but way too complicated this seems a lot easier :thumbs
thanks

You can add a micro switch to your throttle peddle. Just piggy back it onto the existing one.
That way at tick over ( foot off throttle) it's off, apply foot to peddle and boom off you go.
Saves all that high reving tick over stuff ;)
There's a bunch of pics of mine but that there photobucket kind of spoiled the details
