Sorry George, can I just ask a few questions please?

How do you set the pot up for best performance? Is it trial and error, or is there a procedure?

Is it worth mounting the pot on the Dash, so you can wind it up or down, as and when needed, or is it best in a box under the bonnet, so once setup you just leave it alone?

You say across pin 2 and 3, is this connector down on the fuel pump, or one of the ones up on the top of the engine?

Thanks.

Hi if you drop me your email I can send you pics where to wire into

I recommend cab mounted

It is to some extent trial and error to suit each truck and driver... I recommend dialing it down until idle turns lumpy or picks up then knock it back a touch, 9 times out of 10 this will want slight adjustmen after a few miles

On my personal trucks I tend to run one set at a happy medium for every day then install a second one on a switch for full power/smoke

Cheers

Got my bits today from ebay so ill be putting it together hopefully this week. As George has said its been big on the vw scene for years plenty of info online and videos on YouTube not heard one bad thing about it. George is it possible to get a copy of the diagrams as well? [email protected] cheers.

To my mind George is doing a sterling job here giving the diagram to whoever wants one, well done, Rick

Thanks, I can't wait for some feed when some people have tried it... might change a few people's minds...

I recently sold my old off roader, I thought I had removed the MAF amp, but clearly not as a quick look under the bonnet reviled, net result is new owner busted a front drive shaft on his first outing with it, it will be coming off tootsweet as I only have a couple of shafts left, it really does improve the low down grunt but not needed for rough roading, Rick

This is not the same as a mad amp and has much greater gains
