Hi, folks,

This is my first go at this so please bear with me... I have a 2002 3.0 sve with 6-cd autochanger, which has gone belly up! I want to replace it with a modern single dash-mounted unit, using the fascia/hazard switch replacement kit supplied by caraudiosupermarket.com
Does anyone out there have any reservations about my going this way? Comments would be appreciated

Many thanks

I have a head unit only, no multi changer. But it dies have a built in sd card slot and a USB socket for a memory stick along with ipod connections. I think multi changers are a thing of the past.

in my terrano, when i put a modern stereo in, i had to change the speakers because thay couldnt handle the extra power its a 1993 so speakers may be different in your newer one:nenau

Cheers for the thoughts, uys, it seems that the single head unit is the way to go, just hope all the redundant wiring for the multi and the steering wheel paddles don't give me any grief !

i changed mine for a new one sd usb mp3 thing. lost the cd changer from under the seat.

Thats the way to go, got a head unit and had it fitted, make sure you get a blue tooth stereo so you can use hands free.

Iv got an old Ford tape deck in mine. It has a removable front that i leave on, cos id only loose it and no one has tried to steal it yet, im amazed :clap
