What have they made them from? First bit of proper wet weather, gone through a few puddles now it's playing up.

Had starter issues with my SWB mav, didn't think it would happen so quick again seeing as I have not done any offroading/wading in the new one :(
 
I was too early to jump to conclusions, turns out it was the main 12v feed to the starter was loose.

All fixed now.

Yeah, never had an issue touch wood

Had the alternator light on a few times but its always gone out after a few miles, never killed a starter tho

I presume that woukd have just been because the belt was slipping?
 
If you've got a problem with your starter ...ask RYAN to have a look :lol

I've heard he's good with them :naughty
