Terrano seat swop from 3 door to 5 door model

Hi, I wish to know can I replace my broken drivers seat in my 5 Door 2004 Terranno, with one from a 2004 5 door model ?

I need to know ASAP, as I may be collecting it in the Morning if it is suitable ?

If it's the same year, it should fit, all the seats are the same fittings eg, you could probably put a entire 2005 interior in a 1993

should do the fixings are the same, the only difference is the three door seat auto slides forward on releasing the back rest, Rick

The seat is now fitted, only problem was getting my Seat bolts out, as they were rusted in, but spraying with wd40 every turn and they came out without snapping !
Hence the importance of putting some Copperslip on threads when fitting Screws and bolts !
The Seat was from a 3 door, but does not Auto slide forward ? and it came out of the Vehicle complete with runners etc while I waited !
But it is a perfect match and it is actually higher and much firmer, luckily I could raise the Steering wheel off my knees.

May as well get Rid of the old Seat now !

in a similiar vain, are swb doors longer than lwb front doors to give rear passenger
more room to climb in? ie is b pillar in 3 door further back than 5 door, or does slide function take care of this.

cheers, times been together and not compared, but assumed swb's
would be bigger as per so many 2door versus 4door cars.
