terrano mileage correction

hi all my 2000 reg torrano had had new clocks fitted wean i got it i know the correct mileage as i have the service book and old mot certs is there a tool i can get to correct it or some software to do it with a laptop and the obd cable ? or do i have to take it to a dealer

i have the digital dash so that old trick will not work lol

its not illegal as there are places that do it i just have to inform my insurance and let them know

The act of adjusting the mileage on a vehicle is not in itself illegal. It is illegal however to knowingly sell a vehicle without disclosing the correct mileage reading.

Just enter the Both Mileages in the service record with the date of clock change.
