Hi, can anyone advise, I have seen an Ad elsewhere for a Pair of Chrome Sill Steps for a LWB, Terrano, possiblyoff a 2001 model, and I wanted to know if they will fit the Chassis on my 2004 Terrano :confused:LWB, and if the Chassis has pre drilled holes for these or if they need suitably aligning and clamping in place then Drilling off ?

They are not Local, so I don't wish to travel for an hour and find they are not suitable !

I have been out to get a Luggage cover today, which was off an earlier model and was told they were the same, but when I got there it was too wide, this was was obvious when I tried it, but will not be so easy if I decide to go for the Sill steps ?
Has anyone fitted these and know the Answer please !

Thanks Des

Give Stinka a shout he's just binned his in favour of some amoured ones for offroading :thumbs

Do you mean he is selling his Old Ones ?
You say contact Stinka, but I don't know how you contact others apart from Replying like this, It took me ages to find out how to Post a new Thread, and I still get lost on this site, trying to find items for sale, spares etc.

Sill Side Bar / Rails

I have just seen a 2004 Terrano 2, same as mine, and it had Chrome Sill Side Bars fitted, and I think they look better now !
Has anyone got any for Sale, or I could make some if some one had the Dimensions etc ?

Des

YOu can have mine for £40

But they need new bolts, and a bit of flat bar welding to the angle iron as it had bent out of shape and it's lost it's strength

Might repair them myself possibly ...

Ok, only one mount is bent, like I say just weld sommit along side it to restrengthen

Had to cut the u bolts off as they were rusted solid, sorce some more or get some m12x 100mm and a plate from straight bar with 2 m13 holes in it :

Hi Stinka, Des here, Don't sell them I will have them ! I don't mind repairing them to save me some dosh, because I am unemployed now and obviously cash is tight !

How much would it cost to send them to me at OL4 4RS, Oldham Area ?

Or do I have to do it via E Bay ?

Regards
Des
