Hi guys, long time no talk.
I am now back to playing with Terri:thumbs, my problem is finding a source for the Terrano specific "L conns" I could just snip the connectors off and replace the number plate lights but before I do I thought I would ask if anyone had a source for the connectors.
My towing days are over but I can not get rid of my Terri (4), I am slowly stripping the bodywork and interior, in a few years time she will be my classic car and should outlive me:eek:.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, they along with AES are my go to place when fitting new equipment. I am after the actual Nissan connectors, as yet I have been unable to find any part numbers.:nenau

Nissan specifics, do not bother to try and replicate them, they are not available unless you get from scrappy but then you have to do a spice anyway, so you might just as well do a splice from the start, Rick

Thanks Solar,

I have time on my hands now I am retired so I have been trying to keep Terri as pure as possible. 20 years time she will be a classic vehicle ( I will probably not be capable of driving, son will sell as he is a VW freak)

I have an order coming from Amazon US on Thursday looks like pretty good sealed connectors, will give them a try.

Japanese wiring connectors

I would have thought you coud find them on e-bay I managed to find the right size bullet connectors for my Honda 400/4 with the waterproof ends. Only bits I could not find were the double connectors. Not sure what you mean specifically by by L conns.

Jargon

Mac,

"L" - Electrical.

"Conns" - Connector, also "con", can be fixed or free, male or female, plug or socket, pin or socket.

This breeds confusion so to keep it simple the term "L con" is used, also Navy Air Eng can't spell Electrical.

Solar is correct trying to source propriety connectors is a long shot I just thought I would give it a go.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08CVFRT5G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, should be arriving from USA soon.

Not really relevant, but since you've finished towing you might like to know that Terrano towbars are as rare as hen's teeth. I've just had mine replaced (rear-ended by speeding 'blind' queue-jumper) after much searching I was told "it's the last one in this country". Cost £200 + fitting.
