I'm actually thinking of putting in a hidden switch behind the fuse box as I found the wire for engine management. Pull the fuse and engine will crank but not fire. :D

So every time you get to use it then, it will have a flat battery from the failed starting. :doh:doh

Might be better to disable the wire to the starter solenoid.
Or disconnect the wire from the start position on the ignition switch via a hidden switch or even 2.

Only problem then is he'll twig I've done somthing:doh

Who does the car belong to, do you own it? Not being funny, if it's yours, then just take the keys with you or hide them.
If he wants to use it, make him promise to repair anything that gets broken

Yeah right, so long as you pay for all the sleepless nights, dirty nappies, stained carpets, broken windows, toys, etc etc etc.
Thats roughly how it goes i think :lol.

My son has a classic Mini and I wouldn't dream of driving it like a knob, why would you want to f..k something up that belongs to your own family:confused:
If you have kids, the dirty washing is all part of the fun ;)

if my dad took my car i would phone the police... he wouldnt do it twice.

you can go option 2 at nack him but then he will phone the police on you.

Just between you, me and....well.... This club:lol there's been some "family" difficulties regarding dad, I feel like he hates my truck from the why he treats it, for instance starting it with the throttle open so it revs high before the oil gets around the engine. but it's in a way his own fault. After all, if he didn't buy a maverick back in 2006 and get me obsessed with these 4x4s, I probably wouldnt have my truck. I saved my money when I was 10:lol or when it got scrapped. I was constantly told by people that it's stupid for a kid to have a 4x4 and that I'll not be able to run it., I can still remember getting in trouble at school for looking at T2's and mavs:augie I'm not trying to moan or anything:doh but it just annoys me when my truck gets treated with little respect. My mum drives it fine:D never forgets about the glowplugs:clap:clap

Why would you want to do that.If i come to descend large hill i correct my speed before i go down it. i never exceed 2500 rpm ever

but thats engine braking...why would you do that to such a degree? id never let my rev like that going down hill at speed! thats what brakes are for lol :thumbs

So if it's yours then, tell him to get his own and leave it alone, tell him, it's for your Mum and you only until he grows up and starts respecting your property;)
