Okay, it's official, I'm now a big time terrano geek.

I bought the silver one to use as parts to transplant leather seats, rear window glass, bumpers and trim to my commercial bu it turns out the silver one is in better nick than my commercial, so transplanting the light and tyres to silver one. Plus the silver one had got a few more toys, sunroof, heated seats.

Ow it looks like they are about to kiss, well done anyway, Rick

Both 3.0ltrs, scoops at side on both, think it just angle I took the pic on the commercial / combined with shiny bonnet!
That reminds me - swap tuning box too!

Of fair enough, just the angle then :bow

Tuning box on a 3.0 :naughty

I thought is was a big no no on the 3.0s

Nope, I've had a DTUK box on the 3.0 commercial for 6k miles and never had an issue, had it on level 7 (1 to 9).
I did pay maybe a bit higher price than fleabay units but I've always used the DTUK boxes on my diesel cars.
It's not the bhp but the torque, it's relentless the amount of torque available throughout complete rev range.

You mean you haven't broken the dial round to 11 :p

I have very limited knowledge on the 3.0 but I definately read about issues with tuning them I'm sure :nenau

Me too, still very much a new boy to Terranos.
I think from what I've read, the 2.7 is more mechanical tuning ( bit like the old 306 1.9 d turbos - ah the old days ) as opposed to the 3.0 which is tuned electronically - I could be very much wrong on that though.

I'm really wanting this smaller A bar too, but 4x4ni won't reply to me??
Don't suppose anyone come across one of these elsewhere?

I would have thought a 3.0 tuning box will act on the ECU and so everything should still be in balance. I reckon it's things that affect one thing in isolation without affecting the ECU that are more likely to cause issues, like blocking the EGR or fitting a big bore exhaust etc.

The Terrano is also considerably lighter than a 3ton gross weight Trol, particularly when in SWB format, so I would imagine it's under less stress and so probably a lot better able to take a wee bit of modding :nenau

Keeping them sorry - first time ive fitted wind deflectors to car, what a difference they make to wind noise when windows are open.

I think I only paid around £27 quid of ebay for them, the HEKO ones - couldn't have asked for a better fit.

Your not breaking the blue one are you?, looks to good the break :nenau
