I have been trying to buy a replacement for our slave to block for our '97 2.7tdi Terrano. So far it seems to be main dealer only at £40! For a 6" piece of tube. The slave alone only cost £25.

Anyone know of a good source in the UK? Already tried Milners/Japparts etc. :?

8O , ford wanted something like £150 when I asked about one

I went to my local hydraulic place and they made me one up for £15.
But I did away with the damper tube bit...

Faithful,

Not come across that site before so I have dropped them an enquiry.

Siweb,

That had crossed my mind. Just need to find a local hydraulic hose place but there must be one around here. Why did you bypass the 'damper' and did this improve anything?

Cheers,
Paul

The damper pipe was shot anyway and the hydraulic place pulled a funny face when they saw the 3 way connector thing on the end

To tell you the truth I've not noticed any difference, but I've not really drove the car much before I changed the flexi.
