If someone could do me a favour and measure up a rear anti roll bar link please.

I need longer links on my Patrol for the suspension lift and from pics i've seen they look longer.

Thanks in advance. :thumb2

Just wondering. Do you know that from experience ?

I only ask because I do a lot of driving country roads on my commute and I hate body roll. I know all the advantages of removal for off roading, but I'm not into hardcore laning anymore. Don't forget my Trol is a high roof too, slightly higher cog especially with the susp and body lifts. :)

I've got none on my Terrano so can only speak from that experience, it body rolls a lot more, but it handles fine ! I thrash B roads at 70mph and it under steers noticeably on the limit in the dry with not enough power to offset that, but it's stable as long as you are aware of it

Losing a rear anti roll bar would make marginal road handling difference even if you drive like an idiot, the front arb makes the difference

Hmm, well thanks for that.

I will be keeping it though. I can't justify anymore loss of handling on a 90% road motor especially as I see it as insurance for the rare time when I'm driving and might have to take sudden evasive action. I prefer the added stability on motorways in crosswinds too. I'm thinking removing it will possibly add to understeer too. If anything I quite like the idea of fitting a thicker arb :naughty

My Patrol has never had a front arb as far as I can see. I don't think the Y60's had them.
