hi all i need a new rear bump stop but cant find them on milners or ebay is there another term to find them or another site that has them ?
are the bolts prone to snap when undoing the bracket ?
any help would be great

They always drop off and people don't seem to replace them. Dealers sell them but I've been told they cost loads. I have seen them advertised on ebay coming from Poland or somewhere.

ok thanks for the quick reply arnt they an mot fail if you dont have them also i would prefare to have them as i carry a lot of weight in it and do a lot of heavy towing.i will phone main stealers tomoz and have a laugh at there price but maybe get a part number so i can try and source them cheeper

I have been told that it will fail mot if you have one on and one off?. not sure if that's true . contact cncfabs he might have some on the t2's his breaking

I was missing one & got one off Rick:thumbs after some tigerseal & a big cable tie all is good now & the cable ties will stop me loosing them at a later date:lol

I still have some unattached rubbers that can bonded/strapped to original mounts, pm me if interested, Rick

They're actually part of the suspension when carrying heavy loads, so replace them in your case. They're better described as a spring helper. Technically a fail but if they're both off "chances" are you'd pass.

You WONT fail a mot if both bump stops are removed.!

& removing anti roll bars IT WILL pass an MOT too.!

& the rear bumper...

Nope , not quite right mate
If there are no ARBs on a std T2 it's a fail, technically. That's not to say that some testers wouldn't know or notice.
However if your T2 is tricked out to be obviously an "Offroad" offroader then it can be argued to be a benefit to the end use of the modified truck, if you get my drift :thumbs New mot rules would therefore allow a pass.
Same with the bump stops, if the tester knows his onions or checks the data base it will be a fail without them. They're part of the suspension.
Chances are you'd pass but only because the tester didn't know.
Not sure on the bumper rules, but like you mine passed without bumpers :thumbs

Thank for all that info it looks like I'll be cutting off the other bump stop so it looks same on both sides and hopefully get a pass then ill stick them back on after to help the suspension but as long as I get a pass I'll be very happy
