The LSD on my SWB Terrano (2004) makes inside rear wheel on cornering to spin on loose surfaces, when unladen. Is this normal, or will an oil change make things better? Effectively, with no weight in the back diff seems to be locked..:confused:

Your LSD is doing just what it should, on loose surfaces you will see exactly what you are seeing, that is good, do not worry about it, Rick

Many thanks for your re-assurance. Will probably change oil anyway, 'cos not sure if the Main dealer servicing is that good...

think the wheel on inside of curve will be going 'prop' speed
and the outer wheel will skipping or being dragged as it cant
really fo faster than 'prop'.

Usually the other way around as the outer wheel will be the loaded one wen cornering so the inside wheel will ave less grip and s be the one that slips.

Mine did the same mate, sign your lsd is working hard :thumbs
