Hi

Can anyone help with this?

My central locking is playing up. If you try to lock the doors either using the fob or when in the car pushing the latch over, the doors lock, then immediately unlock themselves again.

So far i have tried:-
Disconnecting the battery to reset the system
Removing all 5 door panels and disconnecting each CL Unit to see if there is a faulty one

All with no joy.

Any help would be useful.

Regards

Michael

Well the usual cause and first port of investigation is because something isn't shut properly.....if nothing obvious, could be the door interior light switches faulty/waterlogged/shorting....

I have tried that. All the door switches are working correctly e.t.c. and the interior light e.t.c.

although the doors are shutting it is possible that one is not hitting fully closed switch, to help find it open one door and with a screwdriver push the catch to the closed position make sure you hear two positive clicks, then lock the car, do this on all doors one at a time if it locks OK with the door open but not closed then you have located the problem one, Rick

still no luck

Does anyone think it could be the Central locking control box that is located near the fuses? any way of checking it? any ideas where i could get a replacement?

There is a pretty thorough diagnostic mode for the TCU which controls most of the locking/alarm stuff in the manual ref: EL182/3.

checks all of the door switches etc.

Ray - thanks for that, is there an online version of the manual anywhere or is it best to order one on amazon?
