Hi,

I've checked this with the a multimeter.

I don't have any power on the 12v+ permanent for the radio. Ignition wire and illumination wire have all got power. Just this 12v+ permanent doesn't. I've checked all the fuses and none are blown, that I can find. I know the wiring behind the dash has a few mods, from the previous owner.

Any help appreciated.

Have you checked the fuse in the fusebox under the bonnet?

I'm a little confused here - do you mean that when the ignition switch is in the auxillary position it does not power the radio? Does the radio work when the engine is running?

On some models the radio is linked to the Hazard Warning light system for power do the Hazard lights work?

I could be (probably am ) wrong but I read that as the 12v permanent for the radio memory rather than the main feed when the ignition is on

The radio doesn't work with the ignition on.

It does now, after pulling out 2 miles of nokia wiring that's been chopped in and out of the wiring loom.

Reconnected everything as it should be and its all working.

Even have a boot light now too :)

There's a brand I miss fondly :fiddle:
