Execelent........ im having the same problem with mine!
Its just warm enough to clear the screen but being a HUGE LWB T2 it never really gets the inside warm.

Ill change the pollen filter, change to a 88Deg therm and flush through the coolent system. Im guessing the filter on my 1996 TDi is behind the glovebox as stated?

I have noticed that i have a small water leak around the water pump...... could this be drawing in air??

Also when I took the centre dash out to change the stereo, I noticed that someone had used loads of dusters to block the centre vents?? do you think they were trying to get more airflow to the screen or something??

with the rags i think the centre vents blow cold if u put the heater on screen and floor as ur heater was not getting hot and the centre vents not shutting off completly cold air will come from centre vent when in this mode hope that helps shame alot of the snow down here has gone but had fun up femworthy res:thumb2

Sounds feasable..... thought it may be something like that but still a little odd lol

.......Did you mean Fernworthy Res (where i went?). Seemed to be the best snow up that way as a few places to play!

Well I changed the pollen filter, fitted an 88deg thermostat and flushed the coolent system and now it runs toasty hot!! :thumb2

I don't think the filter had been changed ever as it was a Nissan Calsonic one and was thick black!

Also now I have changed the thermostat the gauge at operating temp has moved from 1/4 to just under half! Much better
