TBH i've sometimes wondered if the slight buzz came from the pump as if it was priming itself

Wouldn't make sense for it to prime when ignition is turned off?

Modern motorcycles always used to do it when ign was turned on, never seen it off though :nenau

No it wouldn't i'm having a blonde moment:doh

Actually I might eat my own words, I did a quick google search last night and piston heads were talking about this buzz on different models, someone suggested keeping the pipes pressurised :nenau

Don't know if they would stay pressurised for hours though, possibly a pointless operation if this is the case :nenau

All I know is, the truck was running well and doing this, when it went poorly it was not making this noise anymore

If anyone can definately confirm this noise I would be grateful as it may identify or link to my fault :thumbs

i get this buzz when i turn off mine, never got it in my old one, never gave any issues so never worried about it :lol

Perhaps another quirk of the later models? :nenau

It's about a 3 second buzz if the ignition is turned off. It's always been "normal" on mine.

It was not doing this with the running issue but is back doing it again (which I believe is a good thing) :lol

I get this, been told it was the fuel shut of solenoid

Fair enough, that sounds realistic.

I have been chatting with one of the techs at work here, he is convinced that damp has gotten into the wiring, keep spraying was the recommendation :lol
