Just wondered if any one takes both drinks ok not together! and how they feel
or what it does for them.

Most folks i reckon just drink one or the other, a few neither.

Coffee is alway described as a stimulant, all this keep you a wake with the caffine.

Tea does have traces of caffine i believe though mostly tanning?

reckon both have an effect on the mind as mild drugs, perhaps very slight
addictive or habit. perhaps a comforter, are there any benefits to either
or better detoxing and taking water?

Britain and the empire ran on hot sweet tea coffee a later incomer?

My parents drink coffe, so i followed though reckon grand parents were tea drinkers
so what makes the choice

personally i detest tea ,

im a bit of a coffee snob and hate cheap nasty coffee with a passion

i believe there is no point in buying something because its cheap if you dont like it ...... false economy

as a minimum i drink nescafe gold blend , but my fav instant coffee is alta rica

or fresh ground has to be taylors columbian blend :thumb2

served strong and black with 2 sugars ....... or sweetners if sheila is making it

coffee for me strong with milk and 2 sugars. between 15 and 20 mugs a day
even get up in the night and have coffee.

de caf gives me migrains so does tea

I like both but prefer coffee. I dont really like most instant coffees but for tea Aldi strong brew is tops :thumb2

has to be strong yorkshire tea for me of course made with yorkshire water
have maybe one cup of coffee a day
gave up booze six months ago so on about 8 gallon of tea a day:doh

I drink both, but I dont drink very much of either. At most, I might have two cups of tea a day, but generally I have one tea after evening meal and thats it. I cant drink much caffeine any more because it kicks off anxiety, which i suffer with. I find tea makes me feel calm if I drink after ameal, but if I drink tea on an empty stomach, i feel a bit off! Coffee doesnt keep me awake either, I go sleepy, no idea why! like Peter, im a little bit of a coffee snob, and like the slightly more expensive stuff from the supermarket.

Tea

I drink Red Bush tea(Rooibos) without milk and black coffee.( not at the same time)Must be Douwe Egberts or Nescafe coffee as other seems bit tasteless.

12 to 15 cups a tea a day stewed and strong no sugar, I was brought up by my grandad who boiled tea, not poured hot water on it. And never never put milk in the mug first.

illy

Tea or coffee

I drink Tea and coffee + drinking choc at night.
Tea when i am on edge as it helps me calm down a bit.(eventually)lol
coffee will keep me going for a while longer when feeling sleepy at 4 .30 am.
milk and 1 sugar but if i have a second cup no sugar.
:thumb2

Tea, strong brew Assam, splash milk, no sugar.

Live on coffee (white 'n' 2 or white with vanilla syrup). Carte Noir at home, whatever I can get out & about. Cafe Nero by choice.

cheers guys

some interestingl responses there too, well to me,

anxiety issues, migraines etc

when i googled it some sites said coffee helps avoid the the latter.
though regular drinkers of coffe deprived more likely to have a
headace or withdrawl symptons, my mum ertainly does get withdrawl
though i reckon i can do wihout.

like the making tea processes.

ian thats diffenret taking the second tea sugar less, is that because
you find cant taste it any way. like a sweet drink doesnt taste as
sweet after lots of sweets. remember that with sweet coffee after
a bag of sweets.

i remember a while back, drinking McDonalds coffee every day for over a week (i love McDonalds coffee) and I ended up having an anxiety attack!! Spoke to the doctor, and yes although I am prone to them, he said the caffeine is a trigger, and basically what I had done was build up too much caffiene in my system and it triggered the attack, crazy!

so now i hardly drink any, but when I do, its a treat!

my production manager got headaches from drinking normal tea. Now he drink decaff tea.
