TD & TDI gearbox

Hi guys, is there a difference in gearboxes between 96 TD mavericks and 98 TDI mavericks??
I don't think that there is but wanted to check with those who knew first.

I think the TDi has a bunch of sensors stuck all over it. Though I doubt the inards are different, that said the clutches are different:augie

oh ive got one of those:thumbs.In answer to your question they are different i believe they are slightly different lengths as in the past ive been asked many times to measure them.
