After many long years of Land Rover ownership, I have finally joined the "dark side" and bought a 2005 Nissan Patrol 3.0d SVE!

Off to do some serious reading now on oil catch cans, snorkel fitment, etc

Trol owner myself, although I'm in the middle of selling my Y61 3.0 and getting an older Y60 4.2 :sly

My 3.0 has been an awesome, capable and reliable steed during the 4 years I've had her though, you won't be disappointed :thumbs

I was a Land Rover owner too, made the switch and I have to say, I'm loving it!

There's plenty of information on here and as Davey say's, the Aussie forums...

You may knock the landrover but it's thanks to them we will have fossil fuels for many years to come with all the oil they put back into the ground :lol

Still getting used to:

1. not having to wear ear plugs
2. having power steering
3. a heater that works
4. seals that keep rain water outside the cab
5. the ability to actually cruise at motorway speeds
6. auto gearbox, not frantically stirring gravel to try and find forward motion
7. a radio!!!!!
8. interior lights
9. the ability to actually lock the vehicle

let alone all the features!
