Takata airbag recall..again! MARCH 2018!!!! PLEASE READ!!!!!

Heads up everyone!
Please check the recall status on ANY vehicles you may own.

Just found out from our friends in Oz that there are now ongoing global recalls on most manufacturers vehicles fitted with these airbags.
Nissan is just one of them and the repair work is classed as mandatory.
Those airbags we, on the forum had replaced or checked recently are now considered dangerous as well.

Ive just searched the GOV.UK recall website to find my Patrol was recalled for repair work just two days ago.
The truck was checked and passed by Nissan a year ago on the previous recall.
No work was required.

The work is now required to prevent risk to life.:nenau

Just checked the GOV.UK site and both my Commercial and The 3 litre show that there are safety recalls as of 3/3/2018

I'm going to get them booked into Nissan

just had a look on there and mine (2005 terrano) is listed as an for a passenger air bag fault. How do i check if this has been done ?

I think it'll tell you on the .gov.uk site, mine's been done and showing no recall.

I phoned today and they took the reg then told me what needed doing:thumbs
Booked in on the 22nd. 1 hour job for the passenger airbag apparently :thumb2

I used Black Tape! :lol

When I took the clocks out I found that someone else had taped over the 'Check Oil' light! :lol

Our Jeep was recalled last year.

I got the letter and had our Jeep done last year.

Our old Chrysler 300 CRD was done in 2016 just before we sold it, they also replaced the ignition module and both keys!
