tail light

anyone know the bulb type for the rear tail light. i have to remove bumper/light guard to change light bulbs, so would be easier if i knew bulb type prior to removal.

if it is a T2 up to around 99 then you should be able to reach up under the back of the tail light and untwist the bulb holder, simple',s, Rick

When you do this job, take the entire units out ( philips screwdriver ) and check the wires are not rubbing on the chassis. Eventually they will rub through causing a short which will blow the 10amp aux /ign fuse. Your tail lights and dash lights will cease to work.

To prevent this happening cut lenghtwise down a piece of old rubber fuel line and wrap it round the cable loom on both sides of the vehicle where it goes into the lamp units.
