t2 3L blown air only warm

zd running fine, sure viscous ok to once warmed up and free.

getting only warm not hot air and not much of it even on high speed.

read in past of pollen filter, this is first one with a/c, dont recall others
being as weak. fan seems fine, aircon in summer seemed ok.

When you switch from cold to hot air, do you feel any resistance, the point where the outer sheath of the control cable attaches to the control unit, snaps, so it does not actuate the valve.

If that seems OK, I would take the pipes off, where it feeds through the firewall, and try running water through the heater, in both directions to both flush it through, and also make sure the valve is actually opening.

The first time I did my water pump, I got an airlock in the heater, and nothing I did, seemed to get it out, until I took the pipe off of the top of the thermostat housing, and back filled it. Suddenly, there was a lot of gurgling, and a splutter of air our of the radiator filler, and from then on, everything was OK.

I’d still go for replacing pollen filter, how old is the pollen filter?

Check your coolant level, investigate your thermostat as well.

My 3litre is toasty to say the least!!!

temp gauge reads as norm, just under half.

will ask previous owner if knows when changed pollen.

Yes, especially at this time of when the muck in the filter holds the damp, it becomes the equivalent of a solid. Only takes half an hour tops to change and costs about a tenner

well pal that had truck before didnt know about cabin filter so
bought n fitted would say much improved more heat in temp
and more volume.

How bad was the old one, on Suz's car it was so clogged, the ripples of the filter were flattened out by the dirt.

:lol:lol At least I discovered ours within a couple of months of buying it.:lol Surprising how heavy they are when they are like that... I wondered if I could grow mushrooms in it.
