SWR Terrano II

Have a bit of bother swring in on 40fm rig.
Tried different mounts, mag, gutter, different leads.
Different twigs, currently Hi power 3000.
Cannot get the swr below 2, tried two swr meters, reading the same.
Tried setup on my trooper no probs. 1-1/1-2
Anyone got any ideas, driving me nuts!! :evil:

Just to add, tested the earth and coax, all spot on.

I have a swr of 1.7:1 with a magmount on the roof.

I wouldn't worry about a swr of 2 though, its not gonna damage your rig or anything.

reducing the length of of your antenna is supposed to bring it down.

Check your coax/mounting with a multimeter for a short circuit. Failing that stick to 2m

There is no short between the two, tried different length coax, it's wierd!
