Swivel hub rebuild

I have stripped down the nearside swivel hub and I'm trying to put in the axle oil seal and damage it, fortunately I have another. What's the best way to get them in, I was using a large socket to tap it in but it's so tight. I have it in the freezer at the moment trying to shrink it slightly, any other ideas?

I did mine recently and had no problems with the right sized socket and taped it in, it pays to have the socket or tube just a little larger than the seal so the driving force is concentrated on the outer edge, Rick
