Can anyone tell me where the centre 3 point rear seat belt bolts to? Got me as confused as a baby racoon:confused: I bought a set of rear seats and belts to fit to my commercial a while ago and just got round to investigating fitting them today. Looks like I'm maybe missing 2 loops that the bases catch onto aswell? Think the rest looks straight forward enough. Just need to get my leaking side panel fixed first

I don't get why mine even has one fitted as I've only got 2 seats in the back anyway :S ???

I know what you mean and I probably will never have three people in the back but if it keeps the MOT tester and PC Plod happy then I might aswell fit it when I've got it.

Can't seem to find a photo of one with the seats folded up.

I'm not a 100% sure but I'll go have a look in my scrap swb tomorrow. :thumb2

Cheers Ryan, If it still has the 2 catches for the seat bases bolted to the floor could I have them? I looked at your pics of the SWB with the headlining out but couldn't see where the centre belt fixes.

Is this any good? Rick

Thanks Rick, that must be a lap belt though. The one I have is 3 point belt. They must have changed them 2002-. I was thinking it should be on the seat back too but theres no signs of anywhere to bolt it. Surely it doesn't fix to the roof somewhere :nenau

it should bolt in with the other 2 seatbelts where u plug them in so to speak then at top of seat there should be a fixing point to put a guider in for the seatbelt to thread too, hope that makes sense

hmmm. found ebay item no. 221031180455 when looking for pics. Looks like its bolted above the back door

I have never sen a rear middle belt like that one before! I beleive that if you put rear seats in a commercial by law you don't need any seatbelts in the back at all! And if they are not there they are not part of the MOT. I fitted rear seats in my 2003 swb commercial and didn't fit the middle belt, it passed 2 MOT's after that with not even a question or a comment :thumb2

My 2005 has the 3 point middle belt, my car is a LWB model and the roof attachment is just behind the N/S rear passengers head, when not in use you can release it so that the belt part retracts into a pod on the roof.
Hope this helps

Can u take pics of where the pod is mounted would like the middle rear belt 3 point instead of the crappy lap belt:thumbs

Think i'm sorted. Theres supposed to be a mounting bracket and trim part that covers the belt reel. It bolts on above the back door. I phoned the breakers and they had a look for me and are posting the missing parts.

Your right PLANK seat belts aren't required although kids need a proper restraint. Did you have to change your seat no. with the DVLA?
