Evening all
First time using svo, with a 50/50 mix, am I to expect any problems starting in the morning.
Ran fine today, with no problems, although I did have 3 mcdonalds:eek:, but seriously, just wondering about solidifying, or freezing temps ect, like I said first time and 50/50 mix,
Thanks in advance

Out of interest, try putting a little of your SVO of choice in the fridge, a decent amount is best maybe a 1 litre bottle and see how it looks in the morning. I have tried it with a few different types and the rests are quite interesting.

I am running on about 70% of the cheapest, nastiest (GM SOYA) oil and have no real issues on these chilly mornings, just a little lumpy if anything.

The big 20 litre containers are a bit of a handfull when filling up but no more that a jerry can, think we chuck a tenner of diesel in every now and again iv even blended a bit of petrol to 5% i think runs like a dream

Finaly you decided to take the plung into SVO, :clap

I told you it would be fine, mine runs a little lumpy first thing in the mornings but only for about 5 minutes till she warms up a bit.

I need to do a Makro trip as im running low right now :naughty

As Plank says, some oils are thicker than others at below 7degrees. When its frosty give it two goes with the plugs and half a minute tickover before you set off. David.
