Can anyone suggest causes of increased fuel consumption on a Vitara? Mate's one has dropped from 40mpg to about 35mpg recently. Only noticeable change is new tyres and he has same pressure in as always. Maybe some of you had a Vitara and can offer possible things to check for? Thanks,as always.

are the tyres the same size and tread pattern as a more aggressive tread can cause a loss in mpg figures
