try simon t rex. if he cant get the parts for you, im sure he will help with part numbers etc . then scour ebay.com the states and other countries.

im sure with little effort and some part numbers the right parts will become less expensive or made to fit

just to add simon has all the catalogues and part books for shocks. so knows what shocks fit what. so you could well be given a list of trucks etc that have the parts you want. you could end up just having to pull them off a truck in a breakers

i have his number if you need it. he's a nice bloke and always happy to help

Suspension mods for me are to make the beast work really well off road. Road manners are secondary.
To get the best clearance under the diff I need the bigger wheels n tyre combo. 35s a minimum. That'll get about 2" extra under the axle. Then to get enough room for the tyres a body lift of 50-60mm .
Extended articulation will come from longer reach shocks and I'd rather have extended springs as well to keep some effort on the ground at full articulation:thumbs
Oh and some fool to buy my Maverick so I can pay for it all:lol

i've got an ace of diamonds, 3 washers and soft toy i found them all in the back of my t2, i'll trade them for ur mav lol

Phnar, you'll need more than 3 washers in the back of mine :lol
Soft toys come in handy for cleaning mud off the headlamps:rolleyes:
Ace of diamonds you say, hmmm, well if it was The Ace of Spades that would go well in the cd player:)
Thanks for the offer but after careful consideration, erm, well thanks but no thanks

..... confirms what I was thinking. Presumably when Nissan designed the truck they knew something about achieving a good balance of off road ability and tarmac performance.

By the way - your Mrs web site is excellent. Judging from the style and your handle she may be french!

Thanks very much! She's not but she is a major drama queen, and yes a bit french influenced, we've had a house down in the south west since around 2002 so we've bought a few bits and pieces over there which have sold well. But after a progress review the whole thing is shortly being completely rebranded as well as launching a new site selling other stuff....my piggy bank is bloody empty :(

I would only go +2" with springs and a bit extra on tyres 285 75 16..:thumb2

if as your avatar you have a y61 i would not recommend retro fitting of torsion bars:lol:lol

OK so I should have gone to specsavers LOL :doh So how does a troll sit on the road, is it level front to back and can you do anything if it isn't?
