if you have modified your vehicle with either a suspension lift or body lift
or both just wondering how it has effected your insurance premium.

suppose also if gone with wheel and tyre combinations larger than standard too.

TBH don't know I just declared everything when I renewed and didn't even try my existing insurers as their renewal was a lot higher than the first quote I got including all the mods. If its not your only vehicle and you go to a soecialist insurer, Adrian Flux, Sureterm etc, then you can ge a pretty good deal (unless you're under 25 or points etc) as they realise that when you've spent all the time and money on your pride and joy you'll probably be more careful with it than if it were standard so you're regarded as a ower risk despite the mods.

HIC are really good, all my mods are on there, im only 22, 2ncb, £500 a year

and they insured my stupid nova £374 with 0ncb as im using it on the troll :)

Whilst I'm new to Terrano work I have put handling kits onto several otherwise standard cars in the past when shockers and springs wanted replacing (arent standard ones always a compromise :? ) .

They usually comprised of stiffer springs and uprated shockers, lowering the car around 25mm.

Not one of the mainstream insurance companies even batted an eyelid let alone charged anything 8) pleasant suprise really.

NFU didnt change my price when I told them of my body lift, suspension lift, bigger wheels, and 3 points all in a oner! feeewwww!

Our other car as loads of mod's which we told the insurance about & they have added to the cost, not by alot but still there.
