Finaly got it sorted and working right.

I have add a fan to the intercooler because when you go off road you dont get the air flow like you would on the road, therfore the intercooler is not doing much. I have also add a water jet system to it, this work on Thermo cooling. It like getting out of a swimming pool on holiday in the blazing sunshine, because your wet it still feels cold when the wind blows on you, Even if its 29C.
Any way here is a quick video of it in action. how much better its going to be i have yet to find out.

The fan pulls the water into the intercooler and wets everything, just how i planned.

well nice

makeitfit had one like this too i think

Not to steal credit,:augie but i got the idea from some stuff he had been working on, and built this set up.
Petes now got a bigger one off a Landrover on his, so im still in Little League" yet.:lol

god looks like ur trying to drown it with the water

Got plenty of WD40 in them so they should be ok. Dad also said the same thing so i made sure its ok.

Good work mate, you'll only need a little squirt every now n then anyway:D
No probs with mine or the electrics :lol

I like the internal Snork, but dont want to clog up the passenger side.

No clogging there nate and still have the use of screen vent and glove box :thumbs
I'm just rebuilding my turbo at the mo after it's bigger compressor wheel and housing :naughty
That's why I did the bigger I/C :sly

Ryan, remember we live in Scotland, we have country wide intercooling for free!

does this make a difference? been thinking of doing it for a while.

In all honesty, i dont know :lol. But it looks great :naughty.

Im guessing on the open road, no it wont make a difference, but on lanes it should as the air flow over the cooler will be reduced due to the lack of speed and also it will be getting warm air from the engine. this should improve it.

Also the Scooby Turbo has this kind of system fitted to it, so if they think it make it better then who am i to argue.:augie

do you need 125 bhp off road?

assuming i/c is doing nothing then the old td was
producing 100 bhp.

frankly 25 bhp, or 25 % is a lot to get from an
intercooler any way, i'd expect it makes about
10% which suggests that more than half of the
25bhp is coming from electronics/ecu.

in this case truck is likely making around 110bhp
stationary, providing of course the loud pedal
is given some welly and again off road this is
less likely.....

whats the insurance increase like?
