Tilt the sunroof, open the front doors and stand on the sill to give you more height. Look into the aperture, there's a black plastic trim which goes threequarters of the way round. In each corner of this trim, towards the front, there should be a black crosshead countersunk screw - these are the ones you need to tighten.
They are difficult to get to as they are so close to the hinge point of the tilted sunroof - I bought a cheapo angled screwdriver from a pound-type shop, fitted a treat. Quarter of a turn of the screw (the other one was tight) and the rattle was gone!
If they are missing I believe they are M4 x 10mm CS, you should be able to get some from any motor accessory shop, if not try a fixings & fasteners business, and probably best to get stainless steel as they are exposed to the elements.
Good luck. :thumbs

Thanks for adding the detail, bit too wet to play with Sunroof today. Maybe get a look tomorrow.

Finally got a quick minute to jump up on the sills and look down the business end of the sunroof, quick tighten of the two screws and the rattle has completely gone! :thumb2 You guys are the best, I almost want to join again, such is the value!

Obviously, now that rattle has gone, I'll start to hear all the others it's been drowning out! :doh

So glad I've joined this forum :) I've got this problem and its really annoying me!!!! I'm going to give this a crack later on/in the morning if I lose the light too quick

You really don't need a pic. Just tilt the sunroof, stand on the sill and look into the gap. You'll see the two screws near the rear corners. Getting something in is the tricky bit - I used a ratchet and a pozi driver. Does transform the driving experience!
