Sunroof query

Found out where the water is getting into the car from the sunroof (its the rubber seal around glass)but can anbody tell me what the small white plug is next to where you can manually close the sunroof, can it be removed,and is it a lubrication point for the gearing.

Nope but +1 on the leaking...seen that now on two T2 sunroofs (and Zippy656 too I seem to recall) .....just about to sort the wifes....just needs a VERY DRY DAY and a smear of silicone sealant all the way round the edge of the rubber/glass join....its invisible once you've done it.:thumb2

dunno if this will help as my terrano doesnt have a sunroof but if its design is similar to the micras then the drain off tubes located in the corners block up and allow the gutter around the sunroof(under it) to flood which in turn leaks into the car! i had many a wet seat moment in my missus's old car!

Thats bang on mate :thumbs

But they go down into the sill which is why they rot :doh

Got so fed up with mine i removed it & put a metal plate in its place :augie :lol

thats why the micras sills rotted and eventually got traded in ! lol!
