Hi dont know if anyone can help ? wanted asap one sump for a 2.7tditerrano 2004 if you have one and want rid off let me know price and packin will send chq straight off RoyP,s mine has a rust hole in IT

rust hole? pffft, get some of that liquid metal, take ya sump off give it a good clean n get rid of rust repair from the inside wwith liquid metal than put some araldite type resin glue over the top of it when its dried wait for the araldite to dry and jobs a goodun. replace and reseal job done

better to weld plate over it, to get the sump off is not easy, front diif has to be dropped and even then it is a pig, best option is to take the engine out, so now you can see welding a plate is a lot easier, Rick

good point Rick, never replaced or repaired sump on terrano was going by my experience with nissan serenas

many thanks for your replys the state of the sump has to be seen to belive ,its as if its had cement ALL over it and many rustspots .
iwas looking at removing the diff as i dont have any sky hooks strong enough

I would go with this option as well ..................a good fella on a mig welder could make a very tidy job of it.

many thanks for offer of sump have orderd NEW one as need t o get job done AND was quoted £210 for 2nd hand one[by24/7 spares] new is 240 . once again thanks to you all for your tips /idears /help Roy:thumb2

YER many thanks i kneed the truck onthe road and i told them a new sump was £240 ish ,itoldthem i would give £50 &delivery cost they said £170 & delivery told them to *%$&*&^.. so that sump is worth double what you want greatfull thankjs 4 youre help :thumb2
