The original sump guard is an off set triangle type shape bolted to the bars. There should be at least 3 seperate underbody protection panels covering everything up to ther back axle.
Its one of the best protected production cars made, and with a lift and bigger tyres is vitually unstoppable. I spent some time looking for the model you have just to off road with, unfortunatley i could not find one in the correct price bracket.
