They annoy me intensely, got a friend in facebook who keeps saying how good she is at equestrian events as she always is coming first in everything, I want to turn around and say, well, good for you ya stuck up cow, no one gives a Sh1t....then hit her with a torsion bar:augie

She wrote: got 1st prize again today. Starting to become a habit of mine, can't complain as my horse is one of the best show horses. PERIOD

Only one problem....

She is my boss:doh:augie

And I'd the reason I can own and mod a terrano:doh

I likes horses.Fried, and stewed is a couple of my favorite ways to likes them

Dont see much wrong with that. She will love her horse more than anything. All the same these horsey people. Ya ya I know dahling!

Aye, I'm involved with horses and have a reasonable upbringing and a horsey background but I'm not stuck up, asfter all, we are all put on the earth the same way.

just ignore her ffs, that's the beauty of it. By posting this your just as bad as her. :lol

Stop being so judgemental, it doesn't affect you how she talks or how talented she or her horse is. Put as much effort into doing something for yourself to be proud about, like passing your test and driving legally? Lol

I'm not being judgemental, she pays me so I have to like her :lol:lol

Well, no you don't bud :nenau You may have to be civil to her and pass the time with her but you don't have to like her just because she pays you and I'm afraid by basing a character judgement on her accent you are being a bit, well, judgmental. :( If she's really a friend you shouldn't be posting something like that - we can all think ill of friends sometimes but there's a world of a difference between thinking it and actually telling your thoughts to other people. You've just posted that on a public forum, would you care if she saw what you'd written? If not then horse on bud ('scuse the pun), but otherwise just think about things a bit more before you do them... it will save you a lot of agro in the future, particularly when it involves lassies :doh (speaking of which when's the next Zenka update?)

Being involved in farming and agricultural shows I know exactly how rotten an attitude some horsey folk can have, but as easy as it is to tar them with the same brush (and it is very easy) they're not all like that! To be honest if she's been winning all the shows then the evidence would seem to agree that her horse is something special. It's a bit big headed of her to post something like that but just let her enjoy her moment.

I'm with Fez and JimE, put your efforts into something more worthwhile than moaning about folk, life's too short! :thumbs

Bugger me that turned into an essay :lol

she's fine, just gets annoying, and i have other friends with posh accents and they're fine just get annoyed when she keeps boasting about how good she is.....after all, we are all equal:)

she's a success in life lets just say, big fance house, new range rover etc

Well in some ways eg. the law and God (if you're religious) yes we are all equal, but in others, no - and thats a fact of life :lol

Nothing wrong with people being doing well at something, bet she doesn't know her way round a vehicle like you do but I doubt she's moaning about it! Like I said it's a bit big headed of her to be posting something like that but at the end of the day she has been winning prizes which would tend to suggest that she is a good rider with a good horse so well done to her.

Whats wrong with being a success? I would like to be thought of as a success some day! :D Tbh it sounds like your a bit jealous bud... ;)

of course i am:augie

but tbh, im happy with what i've got....well....except my terrano:doh just gets a bit annoying she's boasting all the time...she roles up to the stables in her 62 reg rangerover like this, i role up on my bike:lol:lol, but saying that, i think it's part of the buisness, and has proper AT tires. want to have a go in it:naughty

she is nice tho, pays at a 'can't complain' rate and looks after you, eg, free sandwiches:naughty

just starts to ware you down a bit,

i'm supposed to be going down south with her next month anyhow, big show going off......must say, wouldn't mind riding shotgun in the range rover

Actually I don't mind people who are good at something telling the world, it's the bullsh***ers that pretend to be good or knowledgable and aren't that p*ss me off. Especially the ones who take credit for other people's efforts in life and I've met a fair few dummies in the motor trade and engineering who just shouldn't have been there. It is fact of life unfortunately.

indeed, that's why i pulled out from working with my mate full time....he was wanting me to do all the work...unpaid whilst he got all the profits and glory.....pah! think again!

she roles up to the stables in her 62 reg rangerover like this,

Dude, if she's got a Rangie then let her away with her boasting... it's probably all that stops her crying at night with the cost of the repairs  :lol

Aye I'm with you Deano, can't stand folk like that either but as you say they're unfortunately a fact of life :nenau I find the most knowledgable folk are usually the quietest.
